PRAISE
-
We had a special birthdaycelebration for Abe on his 80th. It is always a privilege when we can be together with family to celebrate, but all of these things come even more precious in the light of the uncertainties of war.
-
And a big thank you to all of you who sent greetings for Abe’s birthday!
- We almost have our generator fully functioning! Still working out a few quirks, but we are having sporadic outages, and what a blessing to be able to have lights and a few basic functions!
- Abe was so blessed on his last trip in meeting with leaders from several of the provinces that have seen, and are seeing, a lot of bombing and fighting. He was inspired by how on fire for the Lord they are and how much they are willing to sacrifice to help the displaced people. Many challenges, but so much being done—in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER REQUESTS
-
We were not able to go to Kyiv last week to pick up our residency documents because we had icy roads and by the time we could leave it was too late for that—assuming we would have been able to anyway because of bombing of infrastructure in Kyiv again. Abe did leave because he needed to travel on to Dnipro, but I did not go. So—the same prayer request. Pray that there will be electric tomorrow morning in the building where we are to pick them up. And then we will overnight and in another place and another office we need to register. Pray that they will also have electricity in the morning because in the afternoon Abe has to be at a meeting. And of course traveling mercies tomorrow.

Our team has developed a presentation for the Centers of Hope which will be shown at a large gathering of leaders and pastors from all across the country this Friday and Saturday. Abe will also be leading them in a time of praying Biblically, i.e. using Bible passages to pray. Pray that they would be inspired and “freshened” in their approach to prayer. And pray that the presentation will be effective in bringing people and places to start Centers of Hope.
